Re: For Non computer Gurus - Ease of Use of Warbl
Well...I am admittedly a bit of a computer nerd. But I'll say that the Warbl and software are very well designed, there's a helpful community, and for silent practice with a variety of different fingerings I don't think you'll find anything better or more flexible.

Re: wifi warbl
The CME WIDI Uhost provides a powered Bluetooth MIDI option for USB controllers.
https://www.cme-pro.com/widi-uhost/
(I haven't tried it with the Warbl, but CME stuff is usually pretty good Their WIDI Bud Pro is an excellent low-latency dongle.)

...don't worry, I haven't yet invested too much time in trying to recreate a MIDI carrot clarinet.
(At the moment I'm too busy trying to bodge together an Airpiano.)

New fingering query
This is just a whimsical idea, but I'd be interested in any thoughts. I've always been interested in the idea of something like a MIDI equivalent of the Microwriter , an early handheld wordprocessing device with a "chording" keyboard that allowed you to type characters with combinations of...

Xota para Lourdes
This isn't really a Warbl question, but I really like the Xota para Lourdes piece that Andrew posted up recently and I'd be curious to know more about it. Is this a Gaita thing...? Do the Spanish bagpipes have a distinctive tuning and repertoire...? I've come across "Gaita" presets on elec...

SWAM Saxophones
...just been messing around on Warbl using an EWI fingering and SWAM Saxophones...

I find myself just grabbing this for a quick practice instead of the EWI now, and I haven't even got started with the DIY Uilleann kit yet. Love it.

Re: ANY SCALE AND ANY TUNING ON THE OPTICAL HOLES
Hi drkcostas - It's a little more complicated than that, but logical once you get used to it. In the "fingering_charts" file, you'll see an "explicit entry" list for various different instruments, which might look something like this. {70}, //0000000 Bb {70}, //0000001 {70}, //00...
