Re: Issue with Configuration Tool

Hi Carlos, Could you please force-refresh the Configuration Tool page (hold down Ctrl and press F5)? I was having the same issue but I believe it's fixed now. It seems that they made a change in a recent Chrome update that was causing an error in connecting to WARBL. Sorry about that! Just let me kn...

Re: gaita 'Asturiana' fingering pattern

Playing accidentals by partially covering a hole is technically possible if you turn on the "slide" feature, though it can be a bit touchy and takes some practice. The slide works well for sliding up/down to notes, particularly in slower tunes, but is a bit more difficult to use for accura...

Re: gaita 'Asturiana' fingering pattern

Hi, as you've probably seen there is currently the Galician gaita fingering but not Asturian. I'm not familiar with the differences, but it would probably be possible to add the Asturian version. I could make you a custom version of the firmware to test and then add it officially to a later "re...

Okay, thanks! Good to know. I'm not too surprised, as it was my understanding that the USB core files are compiled before the sketch itself.

Re: Bug / user error. UP fingering c# sometimes flipps and gives c

I see, they've changed the way USBcore.h works. I believe the above fix should work, and I'll make that change to the next "release" version as well, after I've had a chance to update the IDE and test it. It looks like they've made a few other changes that will be helpful for WARBL as well.

Re: Bug / user error. UP fingering c# sometimes flipps and gives c

Okay-- thanks for researching this. I have a slightly older version of the IDE, which is probably why I haven't seen this yet. I'll try to update my version and test it out this week, though with the holiday here I'm not sure how much time I'll have. In the meantime, it sounds like you could try jus...

Re: Bug / user error. UP fingering c# sometimes flipps and gives c

Did you only change things in the finering chart, or did you also change something in "get_note" function? It looks like something is going wrong in the switch case statements in that function. I do see a possible error that I made there involving a variable declaration, though I'm not sur...

Re: Hardware required

While either the iPhone 5 or 5s should work, I would suggest getting at least the 5s if you can, as it's a few years newer and can run iOS version 12, instead of iOS 10 which is the most recent version for the iPhone 5. According to the documentation for Celtic Sounds, it requires at least iOS 10, s...
