Re: trouble configuring the Warbl
Hi Jonny, It sounds like you are currently using the built-in sound in the Configuration Tool, which doesn't respond to pitchbend (slide and vibrato). Sorry for the confusion! That sound in the Config Tool is very basic (as you can tell) and is mostly just meant for simple testing purposes. For bett...

Re: not having much luck with the warblr
Great, I'm glad you have it working better now! Those two links appear to be for the same photo, but what I see there looks fine (maybe one photo was meant to be of the pressure/CC mapping)?

Re: not having much luck with the warblr
Okay, thanks! Is this on a PC, Mac, or iOS? If you're on a PC, you're probably aware that a MIDI device can only connect to one MIDI app at a time, so if you've connected to the WARBL Configuration Tool you'll need to completely close your web browser before opening your VST app, and vice versa. Tha...

Re: not having much luck with the warblr
I’m sorry to hear about these issues you’re having, and I’m happy to help. Could you describe in detail what isn’t working and let me know what device you’re using it with? If there’s something wrong with the WARBL I’m happy to replace it, and I’ll always accept returns if you’re not satisfied with ...

Re: Connection issues
There actually may be a USB-C upgrade in the works . In the meantime, I’d be happy to send you a new WARBL because it seems that this is the result of an issue with the USB port. Could you send me an email and we’ll go from there? Thanks!

Re: Connection issues
Okay, if you just plug in the WARBL and open MIDI Wrench, does it recognize the WARBL and display MIDI messages when you start playing?

Re: Connection issues
One other question—if you wiggle the various connections between the WARBL/adapter/cable, does the LED on the WARBL ever flash? This almost sounds more like a hardware issue, especially if you’ve had problems connecting to other apps and the WARBL app sometimes disconnects spontaneously.

Re: Connection issues
Oh, that’s very strange! The WARBL app shouldn’t have any affect on the ability to connect with other apps. I rarely use the WARBL app because I tend to use the same settings all the time. If you have a chance it would be interesting to download the MIDI Wrench app (free) and then play the WARBL wit...

Re: WARBL not detected
Just in case anyone else runs into this issue:
Some inexpensive USB cables are for charging only and don’t transmit data, so won’t work with the WARBL. To be sure that a cable will work with the WARBL, the description should say something like “for charging and data”.
