Interesting YouTube review of the Warbl.
I just came across this very interesting YouTube review of the Warbl. See https://youtu.be/EiCP2cWcrzQ that I thought you might like to see. I have bought the bag and the Bell sensor but have not tried it yet as I am mainly whistle player so there is probably a big learning curve trying to play the ...

Re: No hysteresis when overblowing to get the top octave
Oh i forgot to add that in fork of andrews code released above. I have disabled the jump and drop settings so changings those numbers will have no effect. I had a really good go at trying debug and get that feature working for me but I had no luck so I disabled it while i was testing it.

Re: First impressions
Yes @Dollhead I had quite a few problems with overblowing. It is working well for me now. I have just released a test version of the code that I have been working on. Instructions are here: viewtopic.php?p=1031#p1031

Re: No hysteresis when overblowing to get the top octave
OK @speedymollusc i have made my changes available here: https://github.com/louis-barman/warbl/releases/tag/9.1-TEST Just follow Andrews instructions for updating the firmware on WARBL. This test release gets rid of a lot unintentional "short note" midi artifacts but not all of them. You n...

Re: ZynAddSubFx
Oh i have my warbl set to 'force max velocity' and then on the Zynthian I have added a MIDI-FX called "MIDI CC Map" that maps #cc2 onto #cc7 so I don't have to reconfigure the warbl 'send pressure as CC'. This is not ideal for either for fluidsynth (which cannot change the sample playing a...

ZynAddSubFx
Has anyone else tried the ZynAddSubFx with the Warbl? For me it works quite well, it seems to respond faster than it does with FluidSynth. Another advantage is that a lot of the sounds do not include vibrato as I want to use my breath to create my own vibrato. With fluidsynth soundfonts a lot of the...

Warbl and classical guitar duet
I normally play duets on the flute, recorder or whistle with my friend John who plays the classical guitar. But as I was demonstrating my Warbl to him and I tried a quick experiment of playing the Warbl with the guitar and it worked surprisingly well. So we did a quick recording and here is the resu...

Re: Zynthian
Oh wow. I have just received and built my Zynthian and it is absolutely amazing I am really very very please with it. I cannot detect any latency with it and I am really sensitive to any noticeable latency. Previously I was using my laptop to play my Warbl and that works well but it is so fiddly to ...

Re: Zynthian
I have just replied to your points about the breath expression soundfont over here https://warbl.xyz/phpbb/viewtopic.php?p=986#p986 Regarding the Zynthian I am buying the complete package and haven't heard anything back yet :( . I just realized this might be rather foolish due to the chip shortage a...

Re: Breath Expression soundfont
Hi all, I am replying to this post by Gonzo . Ok where to begin -- you raised lots of points. I prefer S Christian Collins' GS soundfont First that BreathExpression soundfont is based on the very sountfont you mention by S Christian Collins . (Long story short -- that soundfont was taken up by the L...
