Re: naf warblr demo

That sounds nice, relaxing and fantastic.

WARBL on a bagpipe

Hi everyone. After doing couple of experiments in past, this is something it works quite good actually. First of all, I got a goose bagpipe, many providers offer the same one. I got it from thepipershut around 170USD with a highland practice chanter included. I'm sure you can also use the Twist-Trap...

Re: Travel case for Warbl?

Hi David,

I'm usually carrying on a small bag for my WARBL in a place protected by my tablet.

If you still want a bag, the pipers hut have something it may work:

Get multiple MIDI bagpipes for WARBL (on Android)

Hi everyone, As you know, WARBL nowadays supports multiple instruments including the beloving Marktsackpfeife (Medieval) but your main issue here would be "how do I get MIDI instruments for it"? In my case I do record my own instruments but many people don't have them or want to try someth...

Re: Transient note filter not saving

Hi, My step-by-step to upgrade the firmware "from code" at Linux. I use Gentoo, it might be easier on Ubuntu since it's user friendly. 1) Use Arduino IDE (AppImage version works fine, just like Mac OSX apps) 2) Configure Adafruit ItsyBitsy 32u4 3V 8MHz. https://learn.adafruit.com/introduct...

Re: Ideas for a WARBL 2

About the bag, yeah, I had some ideas in mind in a personal project: - Small Bannatyne as you mentioned, Goose version (https://www.bannatyne.ltd.uk/wordpress/shop/pipe-bags/synthetic-bags/goose/synthetic-goose-single-collar/) - Valve with 1 input 2 outputs for "Bag", "Chanter" a...

Ideas for a WARBL 2

Hi, Just proposing some ideas in case you decide to go for a WARBL 2, according to most requested stuff: - Extra ROM Memory: So we can add custom fingerings because many people wants them, and fixing everything at the code actually scares non-technical people. - Battery + Bluetooth for MIDI: No idea...

Re: Vented Mouthpiece toggle

Hey Andrew, question about this. Is it possible to change between bag vs breath with a button instead of the website?

People who plays bagpipes may be interested to change between chanter mode and bagpipe mode without creating a separated instrument.

Re: Also not a WARBL question, but could use advice on alternative to FluidSynth on Android

Hi, I would recommend you to download Fluidsynth Android from some alternative App store. Google enforced a policy to prevent users from Android 13+ of downloading certain apps if their codebase is older than 2 years. Blame Google and their practices, this is not a developer issue. https://stackover...
