Re: W2 - DYI Case
The Velcro patches I have on the back are high enough to protect the button from being triggered.

Re: W2 - Extended Sax
I switch from reading music in Bb, Eb and C. I find it easier to figure out the transposition starting from C for some reason.

W2 - moisture
Used a bag with W1 so I have not run into moisture leaking from the vent tube into the thumb hole before. I hope it is water tight. It still is an issue even with the MP upside down with tube facing upwards. Thinking of just tying a piece of yarn between the tube and the instrument just to keep the ...

W2 - Extended Sax
I reworked the fingerings as they were transposed for a Bb. I also disabled changing registers with overblowing. I put the fingerings into C so when you play a C it is a C. If you need to transpose that is best done in your host. Also the lower range played no matter if you had the thumb covered or ...

Re: Enlarging finger holes
Found the answer “ It's also a bit difficult to disassemble the WARBL and reassemble it, as it requires destroying and replacing the caps for the buttons and the light pipe. That is the downside of fitting the whole thing in a tube rather than a two-piece enclosure that you can take apart.”

W2 - DYI Case
https://youtube.com/shorts/_rl06ad0q6M?feature=shared Found the components in various place around the house. First found a nylon bag I must have gotten with something in the closet. Put the W2 in it but it alone didn’t offer much protection. Then I went into the garage and found some tubing just a ...

Enlarging finger holes
Now that I have played the W2 I am wondering what would be involved with enlarging the holes on the first gen? Can it even be done?

W2 - Widex moment hearing aids
As mentioned in an earlier thread, I have a no latency audio in my Widex hearing aids when using a wired midi controller with my iPhone 15 pro max and my old 12. When I used a BTLE controller the latency was bad. Well it turns out the W2 is the exception for BTLE. Again this is for phone in the pock...

Re: How many?
To be honest, I have never run into a whistle or pipe player either. Thanks for the reply.

How many?
Have had the original since the get go and now waiting for W2. Also have other wind controllers and never have run into anybody that I didn’t have to explain what I am talking about. What are the chances of running into a fellow WARBLer? How many of the first edition are out in the wild? Anybody to ...
