Re: Newby Question

If it is a usb A then it will plug right in without any adapter. Make sure you use the cable that comes with the WARBL as not all similar looking cables are the same.

Re: Lend one to "Team Recorder" for a Review?

If you feel there would be any latency added then it's not going to work. I am not skilled enough to take this any farther so you can put it on the "back burner".

Re: Lend one to "Team Recorder" for a Review?

The potential is enormous if this could be triggered by light. This would introduce the least latency. Slip something over the WARBL and connect it to switches and you could have midi gloves or repurpose old instruments and convert them to midi. The WARBl would have to be able to work like it does n...

Re: Lend one to "Team Recorder" for a Review?

Now you got me going again. I have had that thought also but for a DYI retrofit and repurpose of old acoustic wind instruments. The WARBL internals would be perfect for that as they could slip inside of even a flute. If you look at the EMEO that is kind of what they did with a new sax for $1500. I h...

Re: Lend one to "Team Recorder" for a Review?

I like CutiePie but hers was too basic. She should do a follow up. The best review, I have seen is form Matt Willis and is posted on Andrew's site. This is a real acoustic pro that knows midi software and other electronics related to pipes and whistles. I wish he would offer a well structured patron...

Re: Add MiniSax fingerings

Good choice going for WARBL. I did end up getting the ES2 and they are different animals just like the rest of the wind controllers. The posts are about the ES1 as the ES2 just came out in July 2020. I can see how people can be negative when they try to compare one wind controller to another. I have...

Re: Would it make sense to have a "WARBL" fingering?

Deleted post as it is very problematic. That is, I only have been able to test the theory on a wind controller with capacitive touch keys and it was not polyphonic when I hit two of the separate notes that had each note only assigned to one key. The keys were very sensitive and I was not used to pla...

Re: Would it make sense to have a "WARBL" fingering?

I tried setting a chording fingering system up with another controller similar to the WARBL that allows user programming a custom fingering system but it didn’t work. Main reason is you actually support the instrument with your fingers and it was too easy to keep hitting wrong notes.
