Firmware v. 1.8 released

It came to my attention yesterday that there was a bug with v. 1.7 that, under certain conditions, could cause settings to become corrupted. I'm releasing a new version today that *hopefully* fixes this problem. Please note that this version will reset the device to factory settings, so you'll have ...

Re: Cutting out

Okay, sorry for the issue-- we'll get it straightened out. If it turns out to be a hardware issue I'll send you a new one (longer version)?

Re: Cutting out

Interesting—are you using the pressure sensor? If you try using bagless mode does it still happen?

Re: Cutting out

Okay, do all your settings in the Configuration Tool look like they’re unchanged? If you try a different app for the sound, does it do the same thing? I.e., you can try the built-in sound in the Configuration Tool.

I wonder if it could be a problem with the cable?

Re: Cutting out

Does all sound just stop suddenly, or what exactly is happening?

Thanks!

Re: New (better) process for updating firmware

Awesome! I’m glad it worked. I’ll let the makers of the app know that this happened to both of us. Thanks for your patience with this process.

Re: New (better) process for updating firmware

Sounds good! If it would be possible to copy the error message and all the surrounding text, that would be helpful too. I contacted the people who make QMK Toolbox, and they were interested in seeing it.

Re: ANY SCALE AND ANY TUNING ON THE OPTICAL HOLES

I've been thinking more about your suggestion for the ability to add a custom fingering chart. Were you thinking that it would start with the basic tin whistle chart, with the ability to set each fingering pattern in that chart to any MIDI note? Or, were you hoping to be able to set any possible fin...

Re: New (better) process for updating firmware

Thinking back, I believe what I did when this happened to me was I uninstalled QMK Toolbox (I was trying to do a fresh install to make the video), restarted my PC, then reinstalled QMK Toolbox. At that point it worked. If that doesn't work, there are a few options, I see that you were able to do the...
