More Hardware Porn!
For the hardware-interested among us, it'd be great if the website could have a few more images of the WARBL in various stages of assembly. I'm particularly interested in a high-res picture of the PCB next to the enclosure, also a dimensions sheet would be cool (both of these as I'm interested in if...

Re: Proposed longer WARBL version for pipers
Random thought: a larger version might also be nifty for hardware hackers, esp. if things were laid out with the idea that people may want to add their own boards and batteries, I'm thinking for playing with wireless, but I'm sure there are other features things hardware hackers might like to have t...

Add optional MPE support
Mentioned this elsewhere, but thought I'd also put in a proper feature request. It sounds like the WARBL is capable of musical expression that is beyond the capability of traditional MIDI to capture completely. It would be nice to have an optional MPE mode, where the full expressiveness of the WARBL...

Re: Playing with the Yamaha UD-BT01 Bluetooth adapter
Another idea, although perhaps would require too much compute overhead: Leave the existing microUSB port on the WARBL, add a battery and a second, internal, full-size USB Host port, and just sell a tiny USB Bluetooth dongle from a random other supplier it's been verified to work with. Then be sure t...

Re: Playing with the Yamaha UD-BT01 Bluetooth adapter
IMHO I've never used anything Bluetooth that wasn't just a clusterfuck of issues. I'd personally much prefer you didn't give the Bluetooth Mafia any $$$, and do what Logitech does with their wireless keyboards - use some radio protocol attuned to your specific use case (low latency, low data rate) a...

Re: Bell Sensor Bending
These decisions around vibrato and slide all stem from the MIDI limitations that make it difficult to have smooth transitions between notes. I'm sure this would be a whole can of worms, but isn't this one of the issues MPE - https://support.roli.com/support/solutions/articles/36000027933-what-is-mp...

Re: Chords
Was that piece supposted to sound kina atonal?
For demo purposes, would be interesting to post both a real-guitar version of some well-known meldoy along with the WARBL version.
But in any case, thanks, that was really interesting!

Re: Proposed longer WARBL version for pipers
Having got my WARBL back in April, I wish I had seen this discussion as I would have held off until the longer version became available. Have you considered the possibility of swapping new for old or some other arrangement? I (and I'm sure others) would be interested in used instruments if the pric...

How much easier is WARBL than bagpipes? Octave range?
Looking around there are many claims that the acoustic bagpipes are the #1, or at least top-3, most difficult instruments to pick up. Many claims of 2 years before not sounding awful, etc. So, to anyone who also plays acoustic bagpipes: How much easier is the WARBL? (Nevermind re: octave range, I wa...
