Just in case anyone else runs into this issue:

Some inexpensive USB cables are for charging only and don’t transmit data, so won’t work with the WARBL. To be sure that a cable will work with the WARBL, the description should say something like “for charging and data”.

I’m sorry to hear about these issues. I’ll talk to the guys who made the app and see if they have any suggestions. In general I recommend having your settings all configured ahead of time so you don’t have to use the WARBL app in a live setting. If you do need to change settings I’d suggest setting ...

That size sounds about right to me, as v. 2.2 has a few more fingering charts. It should be no problem to use that version, as all the changes are pretty minor.

I’m away from home so I’m not able to check on my machine, but I believe the newest version of the IDE puts the Adafruit packages in a different location—you may have to search for Adafruit to find it.

Interesting-- if you have two WARBLs and the same thing recently started happening on both, this would seem to point toward the cable. Did it start happening on both WARBLs at the same time?

Hi Iris, If you wiggle the various connections, does the LED on the WARBL ever flash again? That would indicate a poor connection.
