Intermittent problems with notes sounding when not touching bag

For the past two days I had, mainly at night, a problem with notes sounding on their own. It works fine most of the day. It starts off like the sound of a geiger counter and then it is constant. I can still finger notes but when I remove my hands it still sounds. The only thing I have found that sto...

Re: Sending Aftertouch from expression

I have been using Midflow on ios to convert cc7 to Channel Pressure (After Touch). You first set up the Midiflow app and then its just a matter of opening it before you open the app that requires After Touch. I agree that it would be nice if the WARBL could send AT as it would one less app that you ...

Re: Gig Rig

Case arrived and now I can stay wired safely to the Ipad mini as you can use the back hand strap to secure the lightning adapter. Having it around your next it is much easier to use all the apps and use it for reading music. I use ForScore and link backing tracks to the sheet music. Still using Bose...

Re: Sax Fingerings

Still experimenting with Matt’s Patchman Music Korg iM1 patches using MidiFlow with cc 7 to channel pressure. In bag mode using overblow cases problem so the range with the Sax fingering is low G# to high C#. Covers most music and you have to adjust the pressure settings to make it easier to learn t...

Re: Wireless midi

Tried connecting like that and also opera and chrome but nothing seems to support midi correctly on iOS Wired solution to iPhone with cellar service is the portable work around. With all the electronics and wires hanging on me I hope I don’t get mistaken as a suicide bomber if I play in public. Adde...

Re: Wireless midi

Thanks. I got sounds out of built in synth but nothing else. That’s the way your app is with wireless. This in iPad Pro. I could see messages in the little midi console window go on and off as I squeezed the bag and al midi lines in the display before I brought up the page. Tried my iPhone and I cou...

Re: Sax Fingerings

Tips for beginners: (all suggestions are for bag mode but some may help in breath mode ) If you you need to go use A#, G# and D# a lot just keep you rt pinky on the seventh hole when switching back and forth. If you have a hard time finding the thumb hole for octave switch put a small strip of fuzzy...

Re: Sax Fingerings

Just learning the Sax fingering for a few days. Recorded this on ipad mini using Sampletank cello sound. WARBL was played with boda bag and PUC+ BTLE wireless midi to ipad. Just wanted to demo the range, staccato and octave switching using back thumb hole and over-blow. It is musical gibberish at th...

Re: Gig Rig

I ordered a case with straps for the IPad mini and and armband case for IPhone as I found I need quick access to the apps. If the phone is in your pocket or the iPad is in a bag it took too much time and the was a good chance of dropping the device. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0714LHWSF/ref=p...

Wireless midi

I use wireless midi via PUC+ Bluetooth LE to iOS or Mac os and have found that the conf app or the web conf app needs to have a wired connection. As a work around I simply carry a lightning adapter with a short usb cable that has a female usb connection on the other end. You could do other things bu...
