When one is not enough

Post by 2Dog »

Came across this: https://youtu.be/hC57wLfGX8A Love it when musicians finish with a smile even after you know you made mistakes. Alen can smile with two whistles in his mouth.

I am assuming one was modified to block off the upper holes. Using a WARBL and a modified whistle might be interesting. You might not need to modify the whistle as I am thinking you might be able to transpose the WARBL so you have different notes on the upper holes and just play the upper holes on both. Thinking it would be depending on the fingering system and you might be limited to one octave. Or you could use two WARBLs and just transpose one and play just the upper holes on each. Might be something to try if you have one and are getting the longer version. You also would need a USB bridge so you could connect both to the same device. You could change the channel on one one to use a different app to open up all kinds of possibilities.

I am a bag-mode-sax-fingering guy. Got a harp rack for the neck and working on Harmonica and WARBL combo. An analog guy trapped in a digital world. The goal is to be able to do the Fox Chase making dog sounds out the side of my mouth backed up by WARBL droning. https://youtu.be/_e7VBJTHWxo Thinking I could cheat and trigger sampled sounds with the WARBL.
