Greetings,
My primary use case for getting the Warbl was for travel. It should allow me to practice in crowded spaces such as airports.
Warbl into an iPhone 13 running Celtic sounds wonderful.
If I connect my Airpods to the same phone there is a noticeable lag between playing a note and hearing it.
Does the iPhone lack the horsepower or bandwidth to handle this?
Is there a better setup for playing into headphones or ear pods?
I've not tried a hardwired pair of headphones attached to the iPhone's adapter that I am using to connect the Warbl. I'll try that next.
Thank you.

Greetings,
Using hardwired headphones resolved the issue.

Re: Lag using iPhone and Airpods
Hi David, sorry for the delayed reply, but as you discovered Bluetooth audio does have a lot of latency. There have been some advances in just the last year or two, but I think the latency is still too high to use with live music. So, we're stuck with wired headphones/speakers for now .

Re: Lag using iPhone and Airpods
I have Widex hearing aids that have no noticeable latency when using touch interface midi apps on my iPhone 12 or the new 15 pro max. No latency if I use a usb controller. If I use a Bluetooth le controller that introduces noticeable latency' (WARBLE 2). Basic you are using two different types of Bluetooth at the same time. If I use a BTle controller I plug the headphones into a usb to audio adapter and the latency is no longer noticeable. You can use the phone speakers if you are a better player than I.
Re: Lag using iPhone and Airpods
That's very interesting about the hearing aids-- I'd heard of the new low-latency hearings aids and headphones but haven't had any direct experience with them.

Re: Lag using iPhone and Airpods
The hearing aides are low latency and good for watching tv and YouTube but it is not close to a good headphone. If a player sounds good in my hearing aids then it will be great with headphones.

They are also designed for correcting normal hearing at a cost of $3k. Since I have them I will see how they work with WARBL2 shortly.
