Improving moisture control

I recently discovered that a small amount of silicone grease applied to the “nozzle” on the WARBL mouthpiece in the location shown helps excess moisture fall away as intended, rather than dripping down the side of the mouthpiece and the WARBL. I used “Super Lube” but any silicone grease would work fine—it’s extremely hydrophobic and prevents moisture from clinging to the mouthpiece.

The original WARBL came with a small tube of this grease. The WARBL2 does not but it’s commonly available.

Dumb question: Apply inside the nozzle, right?

No sorry, on the outside of the nozzle—that way it keeps the moisture from “climbing” up the outside of the nozzle. When it can no longer do that it’s more likely to just drip away.

And here's another way:

3mm ID silicone tube - but don't apply grease first!
