Fluidsynth won't import WARBL sf2 file

Hi all,

I'm wondering has anyone had the same problem as me and possibly a solution?

I've got fluidsynth running on my android phone (Huawei from 2018) through a usb to usbC adaptor and have managed to get the WARBL running well with the default sf2 files in the app.

However when I go to import the WARBL ones shared on this site the app brings up my phone file menu where I select the downloaded file and then the app simply bumps me back to the fluidsynth settings tab without any new sf2s appearing.

I'd love to hear with anyone who has had the same issue?

Odd, I haven’t heard of this and I unfortunately don’t have an Android to test this with. If it turns out to be an issue with the SoundFont I’m happy to try to make changes to it. Have you tested it with other SoundFonts that you’ve downloaded from the web?

Hi Andrew, thanks for replying. I've tried other soundfonts I've found online and they've worked but the sound doesn't compare to yours!

I don't suppose you'd be willing to share historic versions of the soundfont for me to test? Though I'd understand if you'd rather not

If that works I can separate out the other instruments as individual files and you can try those as well.

Great! I'm not sure why the other one isn't working. If you'd like to have the other instruments as well I'm happy to save them as separate files. It might be next week before I have a chance to do that, though.
