Hi, following up on my message about Fluid Synth in the Midi Section, I have tried to reinstall the firmware (several times) and now the configuration tool doesn't recognize the Warbl anymore.
I'm no IT wizard but when I read the lines of code I can see there are error messages everywhere...
I have sent you a few screen captures but I can't send them all in the same message so I'll post a second message with the rest of the code.
The Warbl does not work at all now, I am gutted

I'm sorry to hear about these problems. I heard from someone else who had issues updating the firmware on a Mac, and it makes me wonder if there is some problem with QMK Toolbox for Mac. We'll get it figured out, or I'll send you a new device if necessary. Could you try installing the attached firmware called "Clear_EEPROM"? It will completely erase the settings from your device to make sure we're starting from scratch for a fresh installation. If that is successful, you can try installing the 1.8 version again.
If you're unable to get the installation process to work any more, QMK Toolbox may have done some damage to the device, and I'll send you a new one. If you have access to a Windows machine by any chance, it might be worth trying the installation process on that (first the Clear_EEPROM and then v1.8), as I am starting to suspect that this is a Mac issue.
Thank you for the new firmware I think we have a WIndows laptop somewhere and I will try updating the firmware with QMK for Windows. Failing that, I will have another go with the Mac software.
Great, thanks. I've been investigating these errors more, and my hope is that using a PC will solve the problem. It sounds like sometimes other processes being run by a Mac can interfere with the upload process, causing errors like the ones that you're seeing.
